This bulbous wooden handle was chosen by KC for its shape. Its shape
aids the trimmer in maintaining proper control of the rasp and helps to
prevent the development of bad habits. It is a screw on type handle,
that when attached makes for a shorter over-all rasp length. A shorter
rasp is easier to control. For information on developing rasp control
