Perfect Hoof Wear is not a cast, it is a hoof wear that allows for correct foot function, while promoting the proper stimulus for correct development. The hoof wear is not used for protection, but rather for support of proper physiological function. Kit includes: 4 PHW Hoof Wraps, 12 Anchors (3 per wrap), 1 PHW impression block, and 4 pair of protective gloves. All kits include detailed instructions, and a helpful tips sheet. Perfect Hoof Wear is easily applied by the Trimmer or Farrier and requires no special training or special tools. The hoof requires no special preparation, although it is highly recommended that the hoof be properly trimmed prior to application.
