• For horses weighing under 700 lbs. use 4# pads.
• For horses weighing between 700 lbs. and 1200 lbs. use 6# pads.
• For horses weighing over 1200 lbs. use 9# pads.
  

When used in conjuction with the proper amount of exercise, these pads have proven to be indispensible in our efforts to return needed structure. They will also help to prevent further trauma in the foot that has been compromised by laminitis or founder. Their unique cell structure dissipates energy and shock better than any other type of hoof pad on the market. These pads are ideal for use in hoof boots. This pad is easy to trim and can be heat welded to itself, allowing the trimmer to create custom pads with frog or bar support when needed. When sprayed with Silvetasol prior to application they will not promote microbial growth.
Every stable should have a set of these pads on hand, in case of acute laminitis or acute injury. Sold in pairs.
