Composite core Sanding Blocks, last longer even when wet. Works more efficiently than craft sanding blocks that peel under stress. Helps to seal the tubules of the hoof after trimming by burnishing the edges closed. Great hoof Tip: We recommend spraying Silvetrasol prior to sanding with the block to seal in its superior infection fighting qualities. We have researched the effectiveness of using a sanding block vs using a rasp in the application of the traditional mustang roll. Our studies at the Institute indicate far less wall cracking, seperation and infection with the use of sanding block to finish the roll.
